  • Heading Tags

A very important part of your blog are your heading tags. You may understand it as headings and subheadings. Your post title by default has H1 tag meaning the best heading the post.

So we will not use H1 tag anywhere else in these post. Keep only one H1 tag. After H1 tags you add headings in content area of your blog. And in your content area main heading would have H2 tags and headings within H2 tags would have H3 tags and so on.

  • Add Backlinks

Backlinks are the soul of a website. The more the backlinks a website has the higher authority it has in google and better chances to rank higher in search results.

Now there are two types of backlinks one inbound backlinks and other is called outbound backlinks.

Inbound backlinks:

are the links within your blog post that rank to other relevant articles on your website. For example as in this blog i am teaching users about writing a blog to rank higher in Google then i would tell users you need a better keyword research too. Now i could link the keyword research word with other post on my website if i have regarding doing a better keyword research. Google considers this as a positive signal to the linked post.

Outbound Links:

outbound links are the links that you links to external websites. for example if i recommend the users keyword tools like ubersuggest or semrush for keyword research and link to those websites. They would be considered as outbound links.

You should include at least 3 inbound and 3 outbound links to add authority in your blog post. You may add more links if you think are needed.

  • Add Images

Adding multiple relevant original images is very important. it adds authority to your content, increases user experience, and adds much needed detail in your content.

Rename Images

You must rename your images before you upload it is important for image SEO and ranking on google. this will help google rank your images in search results. as the image name will suggest google under which keyword it needs to rank your image.

It is very important to do proper image SEO if you want to rank on google. add all the alt tags for image. This includes image name if you haven’t renamed yet, description, caption etc.

Add Meta Information

The final step is to add a post meta title and meta description. This is the information that is displayed in google search results. So make sure you optimize your meta post information and include relevant keywords in the title and description.
